    What areas do you service?

     

    Happy Art entertainers service Southwestern Ontario, the Greater Toronto Area, and select cities beyond. Our general service area is to Newmarket in the northeast, Oshawa to the east, Niagara to the southeast, London to the southwest and Mount Forest to the Northwest. A travel fee may apply to outside areas. Contact us for more.

    Is Happy Art insured?

    Yes! Happy Art has Performer's Insurance and Vulnerable Sector checks for entertainers to ensure our clients can feel safe and secure. 

     

    Is your material safe?

    Happy Art uses only professional material. Our face/body paint is water-based and designed for use on the skin. Paint is easily removable with soap and water.

    Temporary tattoos are applied in either glitter or airbrush paint. We use a safe water-proof adhesive for glitter application and both water-based airbrush or long wear alcohol-based.  Balloon twists are created using specialty latex balloons. Please let us know of any allergies or sensitivities to latex.

    Happy Art is especially mindful of hygiene and contamination risks when painting. We do not paint over open sores or wounds, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone deemed a health risk to others. All paint equipment is new or washed and disinfected before every event.

     

    How long should I book a service for?

    All Happy Art services start at the minimum 1 hour booking. Bookings are based on guest size or design detail. 

    Please let us know of your expected attendance so we can provide a few suitable booking options to accommodate the crowd.

    How long will my design last for?

    Water-based paint is not designed for long wear and generally begins to fade and breakdown within a few hours with the skin's natural moisture and perspiration. Long-wear paint and glitter tattoos can last anywhere from 24-36 hours with care, and can be removed with an emollient cleanser.

    How far in advance should I book Happy Art?

    Please allow for a minimum of 2 week's time when booking Happy Art entertainers between busy season (May to December). If you are booking multiple services/entertainers, we ask for as much lead time to schedule accordingly. 

    What forms of payment do you accept?

    We currently accept cash, cheque, or EMT payment. Payment is due by event date.

    Does Happy Art provide free services?

    As an artistic entertainment company, Happy Art is often asked to provide complimentary services or "gifts-in-kind" donation to public events.

    Because we are committed to supporting communities and causes, Happy Art reviews requests for donated services annually. We ask that organizations submit their event details to info@happyart.ca by the end of December so that we can plan which events we are able to service and partner with that year.

    For those chosen events we provide one face painting artist at a maximum of 2 hours, which paints an average of 55 faces. Out of respect for our team member's skill and time, we do not provide additional artists or services. It is our firm belief that art should be valued and properly compensated for, and any and all costs incurred by us to provide donated services are absorbed by our owner.

    For select fundraisers, Happy Art can provide a 1hr face painting party for organizations to raffle or auction off. Please be advised that vouchers are good for 1 year from issue date and are subject to service area and availability.
